(Litchfield)--Two people were killed in a single vehicle accident that happened on Old Litchfield Trail. Roadside Safety Checkpoint Figures Released

(Litchfield)--Illinois State Police District 18 recently announced the results of a road side saftety checkpoint that was held on Saturday, May 24th at the intersection of Route 127 and Route 16. A Calhoun County High School teacher faces state and federal charges in connection with a bomb threat on Monday. According to Illinois State Police, Calhoun County States Attorney Rick Ringhausen on Thursday charged 36 year old Michelle Smith of Jerseyville with Falsely Making a Terrorist Threat.
