CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures rose Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for September delivery jumped 26.25 cents to $8.9125 a bushel; December corn rose 11.75 cents to $8.0750 a bushel; December oats rose 5.50 cents to $3.78 a bushel; while November soybeans rose 12.25 cents to $16.2875 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle slipped 0.73 cent to $1.2437 a pound; October feeder cattle fell 1.90 cent to $1.4012 a pound; while October lean hogs fell 2.37 cents to 75.85 cents a pound.
