Corn planted was at 45 percent, compared to 100 percent last year and the 5-year average of 98 percent. Corn emerged was at 32 percent. Soybeans planted was at 21 percent, compared to 93 percent last year and the 5-year average of 84 percent. Soybeans emerged was at 13 percent. Winter wheat headed reached 87 percent, compared to 97 percent last year and the 5-year average of 95 percent. Winter wheat condition was rated at 6 percent very poor, 16 percent poor, 48 percent fair, 27 percent good, and 3 percent excellent.
