Meth Bust In Litchfield

(Litchfield)--A 32 year old Litchfield man was arrested following a meth bust Wednesday in Litchfield. According to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, deputies along with the South Central Illinois Drug Task Force and State Police Methamphetamine Response Team were called to a suspected meth lab in the six hundred block of South Franklin.

Upon arrival one meth lab was discovered along with meth manufacturing material. 32 year old Bryan Weller was taken into custody. He was cited with participation of meth manufacturing.

The arrest was a result of an anonymous Crimestoppers tip. More arrests are anticipated. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, or the Macoupin Montgomery County Crimestoppers at 1-800-352-0136.
