Litchfield Teachers Ratifies Contract

(Litchfield)--A potential strike for the Litchfield School District has been averted. The Litchfield Education Association agreed toa two year contract wih the Board of Education. The tentative agreement was struck between the two parties Monday evening. The agreement was ratified by the teachers union Tuesday afternoon.

The Litchfield Education Association represents 83 teachers in the Litchfield School District. The Litchfield Board of Education is expected to ratify the contract during their meeting on January 17th.
