Montgomery County Vital Records Released

(Hillsboro)--Montgomery County Clerk and Recorder Sandy Leitheiser announced Montgomery counties vital records for 2012. According to Leitheiser, births in the county were down slightly from 2011. There were 280 births in the county in 2012, down from 281 the year before.

Marriages in the county were up from last year. According to Leitheiser, there were 180 marriages performed in the county wide in 2012, up from 174 in 2011.

The number of deaths in the county was also down in 2012. According to Leitheiser, there were 299 deaths in the county in 2012, down from 320 in 2011.
