Macoupin County Fair to be held in June

The Macoupin County Fair will be almost one month earlier this year.

According to fair officials, the Macoupin County Fair will be held June 24-29th and will feature events such as the tractor pulls, mud drags, demolition derby, live stock shows, auctions, children activities and free entertainment.

The 56th Anniversary of the Macoupin County Fair Queen Pageant and the 6th Anniversary of the Jr. Miss Competition will take place this year on Tuesday, June 25th at 7:30pm.

The Macoupin County Fair is the oldest county fair in the state of Illinois.
