Montgomery County Road Construction

Governor Pat Quinn recently announced a six year $12.6 billion construction program to improve roads and bridges throughout Illinois.
Locally Montgomery County will receive $14 million. The monies will be used for bridge, deck and joint repair as well as rip rap and resurfacing 7 miles on Interstate 55. The project will stretch from Illinois Route 16 to just north of Illinois Route 108. Repairs are slated to start in 2015 and end around 2019.
