The Illinois Department of Transportation is asking for additional input from the public in developing its Long Range Transportation Plan. The plan will identify policies to provide Illinois residents and businesses with innovative, sustainable and multimodal transportation solutions that support goals and grow the economy.

Feedback and comments can be provided at AllOurIdeas.org/IDOTideas between now and March 8.

Last year, IDOT received more than 700 survey responses during the initial comment period. More than a quarter indicated that safety was their top priority. Respondents also expressed that maintaining Illinois' infrastructure is critical to improving the state's economy.
