Two People Arrested In Connection To Meth Manufacturing

(Hillsboro)--Two people were arrested on Tuesday in connection of meth manufacturing. According to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, someone contacted the Sheriff's Office Communication Center Tuesday morning, and reported that two individuals were parked on his property near Niemanville Trial. The caller stated that he approached the indviduals, who left the scene in a vehicle.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office responded to the area, and materials used for meth manufacturing, and an active meth lab were seized. The South Central Illinois Drug Task Force and Illinois State Police Methamphetamine response team assisted in the investigation.

Thirty three year old Cory Eulberg of Sorento, and 20 year old Ashley Jones of Gillespie were arrested in Macoupin County in connection with the incident. Both were taken to Montgomery County jail, and are being held for the participation of meth manufacturing greater than fifteen grams.
