Crimestopper Tip Leads To Meth Bust

(Hillsboro)--A Crimestopper tip lead to a meth bust in Hillsboro. According to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, on Tuesday the Sheriff's Office and the South Central Illinois Drug Task Force searched an apartment in the three hundred block of King Street in Hillsboro.

During the search of the apartment three meth labs were discovered along with meth manufacturing material. 33 year old Jerry Jett of Litchfield, 42 year old Donna Durbin of Litchfield and 23 year old Richard Wilhelm of Hillsboro were taken into custody for aggravated participation of meth manufacturing.

The incident remains under investigation, with more arrests anticipated. Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, or the Macoupon Montgomery County Crimestoppers at 1-800-352-0136.
