The 38th Annual Groundhog Day Celebration will be held at the Benld United Methodist Church on February 1st.

The event will begin with a potluck at 6:00pm, followed by the evening's program and musical entertainment by the "Pickin Chicks".

Over $64,000 has been raised over the years from the Groundhog Day Celebration with proceeds going towards the fight against hunger. This years event will also benefit the Gillespie Area Ministerial Association and Heifer International.
