Macoupin County State's Attorney Jennifer A. Watson has announced that a Medora woman has been charged in a traffic crash resulting in the death of her mother.

20 year old Caylee N. Durham was charged with Aggravated Driving Under the influence of Drugs. Judge Joshua A. Meyer set bond at $30,000 with the 10% rule to apply.

It is alleged that on March 21, 2016, Ms Durham operated a 2005 Honda coupe on Chesterfield Road, south of Victory Road while under the influence of a drug which caused a motor vehicle crash that resulted in the death of 35 year old Angela Williams of Medora.

As charged, Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Drugs is a class 2 felony with a maximum prison sentence of 14 years.
