Litchfield All-Year Class Reunion Planned for September

On September 24, the city of Litchfield will host their All-Year Class Reunion at the Community Center; but according to Litchfield Tourism Coordinator Sarah Waggoner, there's more going on that day in the city than just the reunion itself.

"The reunion portion at the Community Center starts at 5, dinner will be served at 6, and we will have live music by 'The Smash Band' from 6:30 to 10:30; but during the day, we did set up some optional excursions."

Some of those excursions include a guided tour of the Litchfield High School, a self-guided tour and greeting by a museum board member at the Litchfield Museum and Route 66 Welcome Center, and a guided tour at the Shoal Creek Conservation Area.

"We tried to set up some optional excursions that would work as well with the tickets," Waggoner said, "so when (the alumni) are here, they can fill their whole day with some great parts about Litchfield."

She also mentioned that there has been a good response from alumni who are planning to attend the event.

"We definitely have a nice group of people that show interest and are really looking forward to the event. Everyone that signed up seems pretty excited, so I think it will definitely be a good day."
