Voter turnout in Macoupin County was just short of 25% in Tuesday's Consolidated Election.

All results from the election are unofficial until canvassed and write in votes for various offices will not be available until Friday, April 7, 2017.

In a race that saw many challenges, twists and turns, the Carlinville Mayors race was won by incumbent Mayor Deanna Demuzio. Demuzio obtained 776 votes, Gerald Levora Jr. 522 and George Cerar 128.
