Registration is now open for the 8th annual Litchfield TriathLou that will be held September 10, at Lake Lou Yaeger.

Litchfield Tourism Coordinator Sarah Waggoner has announced that this year's event will include a Half Distance race in addition to the other races. Athletes in the Half Distance will complete a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride, and 13.1 mile run. Those in the Olympic Course will participate in a 0.9 mile swim, 24.8 mile bike ride, and 6.2 mile run. The Sprint Course is a quarter mile swim, 13 mile bike ride, and 3.1 mile run.
