At their meeting Wednesday evening, the Macoupin-Montgomery Crimestoppers awarded $200 to a person who provided information about meth sales in Gillespie in July.

When authorities made the arrest, they discovered the alleged perpetrator was a felon in possession of stolen weapons. His girlfriend was charged with obstruction of justice for allegedly lying about his whereabouts.
