Authorities are looking for a man believed to be armed and dangerous after allegedly shooting three people in Taylorville Monday morning.

43-year-old Lee Wayne Kennedy was last seen driving a white 1996 GMC Sierra extended cab truck, and is believed to possibly be headed towards southern Illinois after wounding three people in Taylorville Monday morning. The license plate number on the white pickup truck is 2363510B.

Officers were called to a residence on South Walnut Street in Taylorville around 5 a.m. Monday on a report of shots fired. Three victims were found, and taken to a hospital in Taylorville before being transferred to Springfield hospitals.

According to the Taylorville Police, one of the victims had a valid order of protection against Kennedy as part of an "ongoing domestic violence situation."

Anyone with information on Kennedy's location should contact the police. The Christian County State's Attorney's Office, Christian County Sheriff's Office, and State Police are assisting with the investigation.
