Dr. John Comerford, president of Blackburn College, will be leaving the college on June 30.

According to Blackburn officials, Comerford, who came to Blackburn in 2013, will take over as president of Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio, on July 1.

The Blackburn Board of Trustees is expected to appoint an interim president and will soon launch a nationwide search to replace Comerford.
