An Ohlman man was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly having firearms while his FOID card was revoked.

Brett Stokes, 54, was charged with Possession of Firearms with a revoked FOID, and was taken to the Montgomery County Jail pending a formal arraignment. The charge is a Class 3 felony.

According to Montgomery County Sheriff Rick Robbins, deputies executed a search warrant at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at 107 Oak St. in Ohlman. The warrant stemmed from an investigation by the sheriff's office. It resulted in evidence that led to Stokes' arrest. A bond hearing is also pending.
