Illinois' 95th State Representative District has gained a new constituent.

Rep. Avery Bourne and her husband Aaron DeGroot welcomed their son, Marshall Dean DeGroot, into the world on Saturday, June 29.

Marshall was born at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20 and a half inches long. His paternal grandparents are Paul and Cindy DeGroot of St. Anne. Maternal grandparents are Rod and Kim Bourne of Pawnee. Paternal great-grandparent is Frances Lentz of Bradley. Maternal great-grandparent is Lynda Skinner of Pawnee. Maternal great-great-grandparent is Ruby Skinner of Jerseyville.
