Hillsboro Council To Discuss Water Equipment


Purchasing equipment for Hillsboro's water and waste water departments will be discussed during the city council meeting on Tuesday, July 9.

Items on the agenda include:

1. Discussion/Decision on a motion to approve paying bills for July

2. Discussion/Decision on a motion to approve purchasing two new EQ pumps for the waste water treatment plant with the remaining Woodard and Curran Funds

3. Discussion/Decision on a motion to approve using the remaining unallocated funds returned to the city from Woodard and Curran for new water meters

4. Discussion/Decision on a motion to approve the Anna Street lot as surplus property and advertise the property for sale

5. Discussion/Decision on a motion to approve the fee for the IDNR/OWR permit for the area around the creek by the intersection of Wood Street and Welch Street

6. Discussion/Decision on a motion ro approve hiring a Sherwood Forest Campground co-host

7. Discussion/Decision on a motion to approve purchasing software for the campground

8. Discussion/Decision on a motion to approve a "closed session" on 5 ILCS 120/2(C)(5) "the purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired"

9. Discussion/Decision on the purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at Hillsboro City Hall.
