A Nokomis man was killed in a one-vehicle rollover accident east of Nokomis early Sunday morning.

Robert Daniel Robinson, 46, of Nokomis, was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:15 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, by the Montgomery County Coroners office.

The accident occurred on Oconee Avenue, about a half mile east of White Settlement Trail. Nine members of the Nokomis Fire Department responded at 3 a.m. Sunday, along with the Nokomis Witt Ambulance Service, coroners office, and Illinois State Police, and were on the scene for two and a half hours.
