A Christian County car crash claims the life of a Nokomis man.   31-year-old Charles Cummings was traveling northbound on County Highway 1, just north of County Highway 8, when the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reports his vehicle crossed the center line.  The vehicle entered the path of a soutbhound semi.  Cummings was pronounced dead at the scene.  The Illinois State Police is investigating.
