So far, the National Weather Service reports a range of 6 to 8 inches of snow (as of 11 a.m.) has fallen along Macoupin and Montgomery Counties.  It's said to be light and fluffy, making it easier to shovel as Mid Illinois digs out of the mess.  Another 1 to 2 inches of snow is expected to fall across the region.
