78-year-old Melvin A. Varner of Hillsboro passed away on Sunday (December 26).   Funeral Ceremony:  Friday, January 7 at 10 a.m. at the Perfetti-Assalley Funeral Home in Sorento,  Interment will follow the ceremony at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento.
