85-year-old George Allen Ruppe  of Vandalia, formerly of Coffeen, passed away Dec. 24.   A celebration of life will be Wednesday (January 5) at 11:00 AM at the 1st Church of God in Vandalia.  Visitation will be from 10:00 Am until service time at the church.  A private burial will be in Farmers Cemetery in Schobonier later.  Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
