77-year-old Larry Dale “Rooter” Root of Schram City passed away Wednesday (May 25). Funeral Services will be held on Friday (June 3) at 1:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The family has requested that those in attendance dress casually and/or in sports attire. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home.  . Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL.
