77-year-old James Edward Scobell of Alton, formerly of Hillsboro,  passed away on Tuesday (July 26). A Funeral Mass for 77-year-old James Scobell will be held on Friday (August 5) at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro. Cremation Rites were accorded and Burial will take place at a National Cemetery in Hawaii at a later date.  Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
