52-year-old Rita Wattjes of Tuscola, formerly of the Nokomis area, passed away Tuesday (February 27). Her mother, 83-year-old Irene Wattjes, also of Tuscola and formerly of the Nokomis area, passed away Saturday (March 2). Funeral services for 52-year-old Rita Wattjes and 83-year-old Irene Wattjes will be held Saturday (March 9) at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Rural Nokomis. Visitation on Saturday from 1:00 until 3:00 at the church.   Burial will follow the services at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Rural Nokomis. Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
