87-year-old Lavena Mae Compton passed away on Sunday, September 21,  Funeral services Friday at 11:30 at Reno Southern Baptist Church, Greenville.  Visitation: 10:00 – 11:30 am. at the church.   Burial: Elm Point Cemetery, following the funeral service.  The family has entrusted Hough-Dean Funeral Home  with the ceremonies.
