87-year-old John Vance Welge of Layton, Utah, formerly of the Butler area and Filmore, passed away June 25. A celebration of life for the 42-year Air Force veteran will  be held on July 8 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in  Ogden, Utah. He will be interred at Wares Grove Cemetery in Butler on Tuesday, July 21st at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are welcome.  Hough Dean Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
