85-year-old Carl Raymond Simmons, Sr., of Breese, formerly of Litchfield, passed away on Saturday, July 11. Funeral services for Carl will be held on Saturday, July 18, at 11:00 a.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Masonic services will be exemplified at 10:50 a.m. prior to the funeral service. . Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield. Carl was a dedicated Veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as Armor Crewman.
