83-year-old George Albert Small Jr of Litchfield passed away Monday June 8th.  Graveside services Thursday June 18th at 1pm at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield.  Visitation Thursday from 10am until noon at Litchfield Family Funeral Service.   

97-year-old Betty Ellen Garbin of Girard, passed away on Monday June 8.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 18 at 10am at the First Baptist church of Girard.  Visitation on Wednesday, June 17 from 4 until 7 at Davis Anderson Funeral Home in Girard.   Burial will immediately follow Thursday’s services at the Union Chapel of Girard. A luncheon and celebration of life will conclude the services at the church. 

79-year-old James "Bob" Reid of Shipman died Friday, June 5.  Funeral services are Thursday, June 11 at 12:00 pm at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie. Visitation Thursday,  from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the funeral home.   Burial will be at Elm Lawn Cemetery, Litchfield. 

74-year-old Mary Cavanaugh of Gillespie died  Thursday, June 4. Memorial mass will be held on Monday, June 15 at 12:00 p.m. at SS Simon & Jude Church in Gillespie.  Visitation Monday from 9:30 am until 11:30 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie.  Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Gillespie, IL. 

76-year-old Meletios Beys of Worden passed away Friday  June 5th. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served as a cook for 4 years. He did one tour in the Vietnam War.  A graveside service with burial to follow will be held on Thursday, June 11 at 10:30 am, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri, with full military honors.  Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville is in charge of arrangements.

62-year-old Cynthia Jean Aubuchon of Carlinville passed away on May 17.   A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 14 from 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at Gudgel Ranch Saloon in Litchfield with live music.  Plummer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  

95-year-old Dorothy Mae Varner Bomkamp of Carlinville passed away Friday June 5th.  Funeral services will be held Friday June 12 at 11 am. At Saints Mary and Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville.  Visitation Friday 9 to 11 am at the church.  Burial will follow in New Calvary Cemetery in Carlinville.
