85-year-old Carl Raymond Simmons, Sr., of Breese, formerly of Litchfield, passed away on Saturday, July 11. Funeral services for Carl will be held on Saturday, July 18, at 11:00 a.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Carl was a dedicated Veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as Armor Crewman.   

88 year old Diana Schwab of Princeton, KY, formerly of Litchfield, passed away Tues. July 14. Funeral services for 88 year old Diana Schwab will be held Friday, July 17, at 11 am at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield.  Visitation will be held at Plummer Funeral Home Friday morning from 10 am until the time of service.  Burial will follow in Smith Grove Cemetery in rural Greenville.

 87-year-old John Vance Welge of Layton, Utah, formerly of the Butler area and Filmore, passed away June 25. A celebration of life for the 42-year Air Force veteran will  be held on July 8 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in  Ogden, Utah. He will be interred at Wares Grove Cemetery in Butler on Tuesday, July 21st at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are welcome.  Hough Dean Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
