Macoupin County Public Health Department is now taking appointments for a Covid-19 vaccine clinic.

The clinic is scheduled for Friday, March 5, and only Macoupin County residents are eligible. It is a first dose clinic only for those in groups 1A and 1B.

Individuals need to go to the Health Departments website and click on the "COVID Vaccine" link to self-register for their appointment time.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Department and Crimestopper is seeking information about the theft of $20,000 worth of livestock. the thefts occured on three separate occasions from January 23rd through February 2nd in the rural Fillmore and Chapman areas. Taken were cattle, two calves, and ten goats. Anyone with information of these thefts is asked to call Crimestoppers at 800-352-0136. If information provided leads to an arrest, a $5,000 reward is possible.
